Turtwig bounds towards Bulbasaur, who begins to backpeddle. He glanced over his shadow to see a large tree behind him, before glancing back and grinning at the furious Turtwig. Bulbasaur turns to face the tree and bolts towards it. Turtwig gets faster, butcis unable to keep up. Suddenly Bulbasaur stops and faces Turtwig once again, it begins to mock the grassy turtle, who charges at his fastest pace. A second before Turtwig could strike, Bulbasaur dodges the turlte, who clatters head first into the trunk. This is then followed by a bone-crunching Tackle from behind; securing the win for Bulbasaur.
LEVEL UP x 4!! Bulbasaur learns Leech Seed and Vine Whip.
Well Done!! I take back everything I said about you before. You're good!!" Leo says happily as he calls his Turtwig back to its ball.

A) Head to the Next Town.
B) Look for more Pokemon.
C) Go home and Talk to Mom.
D) Find another trainer.
E) None of the Above, I want to choose what I want to do!!

You head off back to mom's house, which is just as well becuase it is getting late. You look up at the dawning sky as you approach New Bark Town once again. You walk up to your house and knock on the door, and within a few seconds your mom opens the door and hugs you. You walk in to smell a dinner cooking in the kitchen. It seems to be the smell of your favourite food.
Mom: "It was very lucky you came back, honey. There is somebody here to see you."
At that moment in time, a familiar face strolls out of the kitchen; Professor Oak.

Oak: "Hi there, it is good to see you again, Ross. I want to talk to you about something important, but I'll wait until dinner is ready."
Mom comes out with dinner and you help set the table along with Professor Oak. You set out the knives and dishes as Oak prepares the napkins and cloaks the table in cloth. Mom dishes up dinner and you all sit down to eat. A little while into your dinner, which you eat very happily, Professor Oak tells you about this thing of importance.
Oak: "Well Ross, I am inviting you to become one of the few new pokemon battlers to engage in a small tournament. The tournament will be held at a battle tower on an island in the middle of all four regions, and will be a one-vs-one battle. If you wish to enter, be careful with who you choose and what moves you have it learn. Do you wish to enter?"

OOC: Okay, this thing will probably be a RP tournament between you, Captex and Caboose. It is to see how well you cope when you have to show your creativity and skill on your own. The winner receives some secret prizes.

OOC: If the other's aren't interested, then it'll just be a storyline for you. I will explain it clearly so you don't feel at all lost. It will go into the main area (where the inroduction threads are) and not into the sub-board.

Oak: "Well, you can go on with you journey until further notice. Hopefully soon, I will give you the word to join me."
After the meal, you, your mom and Oak clean up. You begin to wonder how you will fair against the other new competitors, but hope that you are the one to shine through. A little later Oak says his goodbyes and leaves. Leaving you and your mom.
Mom: "Here, take this device. It has mine and Professor Oak's numbers already on it, and it has plenty of space for friends you might meet."
She hands you a Pokegear. This has a built-in video so that you can see your friends as you talk. It has a slot for adding various accessories like cameras, satellite receivers and maps. She then hands you a map card and a camera.
Mom: "I want you to show me the places you've been and the friends you met. The map is so that you are never lost; even in a maze or cave."

OOC: the format for the tournament is going to be based on how well you RP, and not necessarily on how powerful the pokemon are. Just be creative with your attacks and you'll be fine.

You thank your mother for the gift. You head back out on your adventure after staying the night at home in a comfy fresh bed. There are many things you can do if you want to. You think about looking for pokemon, then about getting to the next town. You then ponder over a spot of training you might be able to do. What do you decide?

C) Look for Pokemon to catch.
D) Find a pokemon to battle.

You head out to the next town. Viridian City looks marvellous at this time of year, with the pleasant breezes flowing throughout the city, you enjoy the fresh wind as it hits your face. You find the Pokemon Centre, and rest up your pokemon. You look out of the window, and see a few trainers walking around, and set eyes upon the Viridian Gym. You walked outside, searching the area, and found Route 2 heading to the Viridian Forest and large plains of grassy swarming with different grassland pokemon. So many Choices, what do you wish to do?
A) Find a trainer?
B) Find more Pokemon?
C) Look around Town?
D) Gym Battle?
E) Go to the next City?

Ah yes, it is good to look around town, especially because you happen to notice some strangely dressed people going into the Pokemart. About 5 seconds later you hear a load of screams and a few people running out of the Mart; crying. What do you do?
A) Be a Hero?
B) Act as though you didn't see anything?
C) Tell the authorities?
