Magnemite uses Metal Sound, and makes the pokemon wince in pain as the noise rips through the ears. This enables it to strike with a well aimed Tackle. However, as the ringing in his ears, the male Nidoran jumps up and pecks Magnemite, doing small amounts of damage.

OOC: In the game, it lowers the Special Defence of the opponent by two places. In RP, moves work like they would do on the Pokemon episodes.

Nidoran is first to attack with Peck, but does little harm to the steely core of Magnemite, who Tackles Nidoran once more. This seems to be an easy battle.

Nidoran is looking weak, but manages to Leer and use Focus Energy. Magnemite uses Metal Sound, but Nidoran retains its focus and dodges with ease. It then hits back with Peck, doing a huge chunk of damage due to a critical hit.

OOC: This pokemon is at level 7, if it were two more levels in front, you'd have had hell to pay.

OOC: Just like the episodes, you can faint the pokemon and then try to catch it. Not yet though.

Magnemite floats in for a Tackle, but the Nidoran jumps out of the was, and Pecks Magnetmie once again doing small amounts of damage.

OOC: You have three moves, yet you are only using Metal Sound and Tackle. Try using another move, or being more creative with combinations. A thread is on the main profile page if you want to look and ask questions about RPing.

Magnetmite makes an immense Thunderbolt attack that ripples through Nidoran's entire body. This causes it to faint on impact.
Nidoran Defeated!! Level up x1 for Magnemite.

The ball hits the mark, and you wait a while as the ball begins to shake, with Nidoran inside it. Finally the red light on the button of the pokeball stops glowing, and it stops moving.
You caught Nidoran Level 7, who has the ability known as Rivalry, and uses Peck and Leer.
What do you do now?
