This is Gym Leader Central intro, you will post your challenges and battles with Gym Leaders in the "Gym Leader Central" section of this forum.
Posting a challenge
When you post a challenge, things must match up correctly when we refer to your profile. You can only post a challenge if your character is in the same area as the Gym you are challenging, otherwise, the challenge will be denied. For Example, your character must be in Pewter City in order to post a challenge to face Brock.
Oh and uh, if you challenge without making a profile first, then you will be given a verbal warning ONLY ONCE. If you do it again, then I will be forced to warn you properly.
Gym Profile
This is not like your ordinary profile. When you are allowed to battle a Gym, your profile adventure will be put on hold, and you will make a Gym Profile in this area of the sub-forum. You will not return to your adventure until you have ended your Gym Battle, at that point, win or lose, the Gym profile will be closed permanently. It may be left for people to read for a period of time before it is deleted.
How It Works
The Challenger and the Gym Leader (who will be an updater) will post their first pokemon, depending on who goes first (decided by a coin flip by a judge, who acts as narrator for Gym Battles) They will RP their tactic, which can have a combination of moves (always the best option) or just one attack repeated over and over. The "Gym Leader" will try to counter this with their own tactic.
The judge will decide with an unbiased point of view who's tactic seems to be the better one and RP the outcome. The order of who goes first swaps, and the process repeats. This will continue until one of the pokemon faints and another is sent out. Sometimes the judge will look for other things other than tactics, sometimes levels, the base power of moves, and weaknesses/resistances have a ma*sive impact on a battle.
The judge also has a meter for how much health each pokemon has left. Both pokemon start at 100% health.
